Our customers range from software businesses and trade associations to municipalities, independent local Main St businesses and volunteer-led community non-profits.
Our team of collaborators is comprised of like-minded people who find joy in building quality customer experiences, digital and physical.
littleHive's two main collaborators, Sandy Schneible and Jonathan Hunt, met while working at AltaVista, a leader in early Internet Search. AltaVista and Yahoo! were market leaders for many years from the late 90s forward. AltaVista dominated Internet Search and built shopping and news services and offered consumers mail, mapping, news and translation services while Yahoo was regarded as the Directory leader, and specialty content leader in topical verticals like 'Yahoo Finance'. Yahoo ultimately acquired AltaVista and wrapped its offerings into their brand and platform.
Sandy and Jonathan moved on from AltaVista to work individually in the United States and the United Kingdom in other organizations. In the years that followed, they worked on product management, marketing, creative and development teams and management positions and they gained experience with a number of independent agencies.
littleHive was created by Schneible in 2009, from her current location in the greater Rochester, NY area. She enjoys the challenges and opportunities of making work from the Genesee Valley with people near and far who appreciate the opportunity to invest energy in the work they create.
